I want to rent a car in Corsica arriving at Bastia Airport, we are thinking of flying in and taking a ferry from the Ferry Port of Bastia to Nice on our way out. Is Bastia Airport our best or only drop off point?

If you are searching for a one way car rental tick the box "Return to a different location" when you start your search. Insert Bastia Airport as pick up location. Then insert Bastia Port and choose "Port de Bastia - Quai Nouveau Port de Commerce" from the drop down menu.

OK, great. I found that. Also I am reading some of the rules. Do I need special identification besides a passport (USA) and a drivers license? Also I am not clear about insurance.

You will need your passport, driving license and credit card to hold the security deposit when you pick up your rental vehicle. Als you need your voucher printed or on your screen of your mobile device.

Basic insurance is included in the rental. You can find information under the link "IMPORTANT INFORMATION" at the right hand side of each car photo, then choose the tab "INSURANCE.

Extra insurance will also be offered to you online during the booking procedure at STEP3, just before the payment stage. The price per day will be mentioned there. This insurance is more comprehensive and likely to be less expensive then when you purchase at the rental desk on arrival.
